This topic belongs in the lounge. Just a trend I've been seeing lately is this becoming a 'general' forum and less of a 'building your own stompbox (and mods  )' forum.

I'm not angry or terribly frustrated or belittling anyone. Just slightly bothered...it's the organized person in me.

I am - because this kind of rubbish is noise that pushes more relevant topics off the radar. This forum is getting cluttered with threads just like this one. Thats what the lounge is for. Happens to coincide with all the recent new joiners, and none of them know how to click a search button either.

ok if you had read the thread you would see that i started it with the intent to build this effect, it has since been revealed to me that it wasnt an effect, so only after that has it become off topic.  my bad! 

and if you would stop posting in my thread maybe you wont have to worry about it anymore, so let it fall to bottom

everybody chillax, it's over.  Misunderstanding.  True, asking what effect it was is a bit ambiguous as far as forum-placement goes (my vote would be the lounge, if only for the reason that you're asking "what it is", kind of a trivia type of question), it's no reason to get bent out of shape.  This isn't HC, remember!
