Vari-cap Potentiometer Value?

What would be an adequate value for this vari-cap potentiometer?

I will be using 680pf  for the small cap and   .05 for the large cap.

IMHO this is a highly under utilized control.  Works well for input caps and caps to ground from feedback loops. 

The input of a version of the Easy Face uses one, and I think it has a 250K pot, but not sure. 

I think the pot size will vary depending on the cap sizes used.  Probably the impedance of the surrounding circuit will also effect it.  Trial and error is the only way I can think of.   Sorry.  :icon_cool:

Thanks for the info.  I also thought about the same thing and looked up an older schemo and found a 100K was used.   I will try both for the project I am working on.
