5457 pinouts

seems like a silly question, but...

do different manufacturers of the same transistors use different pinouts?  or are the pinouts on (for example) a 5457 the same regaurdless of the manufacturer?

How's this for a wishy-washy answer;
Most of the time but, not always.
When in doubt, try to check the data sheet for that particular manfacturer but, sometimes those can be incorrect.
