Hello all....  I've been working on this cct for a while, it's two 2n2222a amps into a third amp.  Anyway, I just realized that one of the resistors has been resting on one of the 2n222a trannys.  I forgot that being metal they conduct.  It sounds great, and I've been working on refining it.  Has anybody ran into this before, or anything similar?  Can I run this cct as is?  Are there any adverse consequences to a intentional short of this nature?

Well, usually we call an intentional short...a connection! ;D But, I understand what you mean and this is actually one source of discovery for new sounds. If it works and sounds good, why not keep it.

Thanks for your response.  I have to settle on pots for input/output, and I noticed that while some combos are better than others, there is a loss in distortion.  Any suggestions?
