Hey

i have been trying to build a LPB clone on Stripboard, like three times, and i have failed each time. And every time i have tried it differently, well the first layout was wrong and i worked that out soon after i threw it out. dam! second one just didnt work so i dumbed the trannsistor and desolded all the bits. third time i used a transistor socket.

I have asked people how to build this pedal, one option is to buy a GGG (for eg)  board. Another is to use point to point. I know nothing about point to point. I have heard that the GGG boards are good.

can you help by telling me how to get this baby working

thanks soo much

Try perfboard, just like this beginner project. Perfect for an LPB-1.

Thanks,
a pcb is a little more than pref board, granted but i cant afford to waste money. In a way its got to the whole stage of if i cant sort it this time its over.

Can i ask if i just a pcb how certain can i be that it will work first time?

thanks for the help

By avoiding all of the problems that the DEBUGGING thread in the main forum lists.

Done it. Worked first time. I would recomment using a GGG ready to solder Board to anyone. Thanks for your help Aron
