Hello all!

I have this Ibanez PH-10 and want to use it on bass; shame is that it is a bit emphasised to the treble side. Any thoughts which things I need to alter? I can just change the caps before the phasing part to a larger value........... dunno if someone has already done this

Oh, here's a schematic

Yeah, it looks like you're on the right track- 0.047 uf is a bit small for a bass as an input cap... I'd change c1 to at least 0.1 uf or maybe 1.0 uf and that oughtta do it. At 10 uf your output cap is just fine.
I haven't messed with this particular pedal, but I have 'converted' quite a few to bass by doing just that...
Gotta love those series10 pedals- especially the way you can squeeze em up against each other! get more on the pedalboard that way...

Oh! better raise c3 and c4 also.  Jeeze, is this thing an 8 stage? Must sound awesome!

OIC!- 4 to 6 stage switchable...

Nope; it is 6 to 10 stages switchable

I can't "see" how it is done ;)

What the?... That's... way different... 2nd halves of IC3 and 4 and IC2 might be oddball stages or something... wierd! I imagine it must have a sound all its own!

I really like the sound of it, but as I stated it is kinda emphasised on treble

 I hear ya!
C1- 1.0uf, c3- 0.1uf, and maybe c4- 0.1uf ought to do it. They are blocking your lows somewhat. I would change them in that order- c1 then test it and so forth, and change the least necessary to get enough bottom end through. Too much and the phaser might WHOOMP through the lower part of the sweep.
If you change all the 0.47 uf caps in the phase stages you might also get interesting results, but that will change the whole personality of this phaser...

Nope; it doesn't work;

when I change the c1, c3 and c4 to 0.1 I get a weird phase signal where the highs are phased, but then the signal stops and only the normal signal can be heard.

Only C1 is no difference in sound

I tried to connect the R3 to C6 but then the phased signal gets too low to hear (so the clean signal rules)

I liked the Phase 90 on bass so I hoped I could get close to that..........

ok, c3 & c4 are probably in 2 of the  'missing' stages...OOPS!  sorry to steer ya wrong, this is a strange phaser... try c1 higher- say 3.3 uf... if that don't do it then it's probably a matter of voicing the stages, and I'm apprehensive (over my head)about that since in this case some of the stages aren't jumping out and yelling "I'm a phaser stage here!"... hehe

Yeah, I agree about the Phase90! Nice! Different beast than this one though... I'm also partial to the Small Stone...
