My sound man would like me to make him a mixer that will accept 4 1/4" inputs and bring them to 1 1/4" output. They do not need to have any level control but it might be nice to have.
He vaguely remembers making one years ago by just adding resistors in line with the four inputs. Can anyone tell me how to achieve this goal ? what values should I use? would adding level pots for each input be difficult?
Thanks in advance

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

i think this is exactly what he was talking about: http://geocities.com/worthekik/mixer.html

it's passive and a very quick build.  it probably doesn't perform nearly as well as the others, but maybe it will suit your (his) needs.
