Anybody know a use for CD4049 Un-buffered?

I accidentally bought a couple of these when I was making a Red Llama clone.  Can these be used for any pedals, or are they just garbage?

and then use it as if it were a `69...

Ahhhh!  My bad.  I meant the Buffered version.  I accidentally bought those first, before I realized that I needed the "UBE" un-buffered version.  Me sorry.  Me so dum dum.
