Mutron Phasor (NOT PHASOR II)

Instead of replying to an old thread, I'm starting a new one...

I have a Mutron Phasor to repair and I have it pretty well sorted out, except that I need to replace the three-position depth switch. Does anyone have a schematic that can tell me how this switch works in the circuit?

Would it be worth adding a pot in this position? More positions on the switch? I find this phasor pretty mild, especially compared to the Phasor IIs that I have. I know they are not 3080-based like the original Phasor is, but is there anything to be done to enrich this vintage phasor's tone?
