when construction a perf board layout i often find it a bit confusing when looking at the back of the board in relation to the front where the components are, and conpensating for this whilst soldering and wiring up.
I occurred to me that I could print a mirrored version of the layout (actual size) then bond that to the back of the board ( using scotch spray glue or super glue) and use that as a wiring guide. Can anybody see a problem with this idea?
I don't think the paper, ink or glue have any electrical properties and the paper could be pierced with a pin to allow the wire through.

Should work, the only caution I would offer is to be careful of the adhesive you use, so that it won't eat the plastic on the board.
Even if ink has conductive properties (probably not), the "traces" would be going where you wanted, so that shouldn't pose a problem anyway.

Why not just print out the mirrored version and set it on you workspace, rather than glue it to your circuit.  That way you can easily see what the back should look like, but don't have to poke holes...

i usually print the lay-out on a transparent so i can look at the back too :p
