Hi, time to show. This is my 301 Flanger build, as per the Tonepad schem. Great flanger, I added a mix control a la Tonepad CE-2 mods, made the clock trimmer (VR101) a front panel pot, named it "range". Charge pump to get 17v from 9V batt, had to rebuild the output circuit after the mixing resistors in a separate board cause my home etched board made sort of "static" distorted noise, a problem found with an audio probe by the way, really useful tool.
Pics:

I get some background noise, I´m not sure that it is LFO ticking, That tends to be more like a loud "tock" in my experience, what do you think?

Shoud I use shielded cable for the ins/outs, or is this noise normal in flangers? It doesn´t make it unusable by any means, but it would be nice to get rid of it...

Thanks for viewing

That pedal looks awesome. Knobs are cool. As for the noise, I didn't get that so im not sure. Shielded wires is a good idea tho.

Maybe the charge pump interferes with the flanger clock (heterodyning). Probably give it a try to run it from a regulated ps w/o the charge pump.

Thanks for the suggestions people, will try.

Racedriver's right: those are some cool knobs!

Just kidding. Nice looking project. I like the under-stated finish.  8)

RaceDriver, wath do yuo mean wehn you say I mizzpelled "widht"?  :icon_mrgreen: :icon_rolleyes:
I´m NOT gonna repaint it now!!

Well, Houston, we have a problem... I tried markusw suggestion, disabled the charge pump, and the noise went away, so it´s heterodyning.
A new one for me...
I´ll open a new thread to ask about solutions...
Thanks for helping me find the problem, markusw.
