Tremulus Lune Symmetry

Question to the Lune builders,
what are your experience with different LED's and LDR's?

My problem is that the ramp up and down is not really symmetrical,
the ramp down is way faster that the ramp up!?

Right now I'm using a low current red 5mm LED and a 5K - 500K LDR and I have down the symmetry pot mod,
that helped but I want to have it symmetry at the middle of the pot.

Any suggestions?

You might want to go to tonepad and read the build reviews or common sound [tons of mods]

no, I don't want to mod it at all.

I just want to know what you guys used for the most even sweep?

Linear, but it still might speed up at either end of rotation, depending on where the smoothness and spacing are set.

Sorry, don't get it!?
I meant the sweep of the LFO not of the pot.
