DOD pot cover

Hi,

this may seem like a silly question, but how do I get this ring over the pot shaft off? The pot is soldered to the board so I'd prefer non-violent options

The brass ring should have come off with the knob.  In any event, you might try gently pulling it off with pliers or prying it up with a screwdriver or similar that fits in the space between the nut and the ring.  A good method is to use two small screwdrivers on either side to keep even pressure on the ring.  Great pedal by the way.  The 201 is one of my favorites.... good luck and post back.
