I'm going to add external pots to my wah enclosure to replace the internal trim pots that are currently there. I have a naive question about one detail. The layout is going to be a bit tight, and I'd like the mark the locations on the exterior of the enclosure before I start drilling. What is the best way to do this? The enclosure is black, so it would have to be something light in color, like calk. And it will have to be something that cleans up easily, like chalk. But chalk isn't very soft and isn't that easy to control. Is there something better to use. I know, this is a stupid question.

Best,

Martin

just put some masking tape on the side of the wah, then you can measure and mark out the position for the holes using a pen/ pencil.

after drilling you can peel off the tape and it won't leave any sticky residue on your wah
