Hello all!  After doing countless research on vibe units...I have come to the conclusion that I am just going to build me a Neovibe!  I have been so impressed by the sounds and creations posted on here that I have to make one instead of buy one!  I have ordered nearly all the parts for it but I have two last parts to purchase...the wall transformer and associated power jack.  I have been reading up on the posts and see that the circuit leans more towards an AC current even though it will accept DC.  So I did a bit of research looking for an adapter...can anyone tell me if the following item will fit this project bill!  Thank you so much for all of your help and inspiration!!  Dig It!

Wall transformer:

**If this will work for this application, what "power jack" could be used in conjunction with this adapter--any combination suggestions and recommendations always appreciated?!  i know its probably an obvious answer but I want to make sure and not fry anything!!  Thanks again

That will do nicely.

Jameco has the following jack which ought to work:

It's important that the jack not have any of the electrical contacts touch the metal housing.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
