I am looking at building the Rebote 2.5 and have been able to locate all the parts except a couple of capacitors on the Smallbear site.

3x 0.082 mF
1x 51 pF
1x 5 pF

Can anyone tell me if they are on the SmallBear page and I am just being thick and not seeing them.
If they are not on Steve's page, then can you suggest where I can get the caps or if there are alternatives that I can use.

Thanks
A.

you may have to go to mouser or the like to pick up some of the odd values.

From the Small Bearwebsite:

Capacitor, Panasonic ECQ-B .056 mf. - .1 mf.
SKU: 1102

There's a .082mF cap in that pull down list.  (Just enter the SKU in the search thing on the left side of the store and will get you there, to the page I quote.)

From the Tonepad website on the Rebote 2.5 project page:

Some people are having problems finding the 50pF and 5pF capacitors. In this case you can substitute them for 47pF and 4.7pF which should be easier to find. Same goes for other odd part values, just pick the closest standard value you can find (within the 10% tolerance range).

So you should be able to sub something fairly easily.

I used a 47pf in both my Rebote builds, and a 4.7 pf in one of them to replace those two caps.  They both sound great.  I believe you get these (as ceramic caps) at Radioshack.  (I'm pretty sure they have both 47pf and 5pf caps in the capacitor assortment package they sell.)

SFR is correct.

Radio Shack has an 80-pack assortment of ceramic capacitors (part #272-809) for around $5.00 -- with the following values:

3 each:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 39, 47, 56, 68, 82, 100, 150, 220, 330 and 470pf

5 each:
15, 18, 22 and 33pf

Hope that helps.

Thanks guys. I have managed to locate a couple of 47pf and 4.7pf caps from another source and placed my order with small bear for the rest of the parts.

Unfortunately I am not based in the US so getting parts from Radio Shack is not really an option, but there are a couple of similar places here (maplins and RS) so I was able to get the caps from a capacitor pack from maplin.

Thanks again
