Making knobs fit

I ordered a lot of 10 set screw knobs from ebay and they don't fit. I really really want them to. Does anybody know a way to either shave the diameter of my pots or widen the diameter of the knobs?

You can drill them out on a drill press or maybe with a round file if they are pretty close to fitting.
Be careful because it's not hard to drill too far on the drill press.
