Hey Guys and Gals,
Does anyone have a source for some cool knobs?   I'd like to get something different than the standard black/chrome ones...

"search" for "knobs"

There are a bunch of different ones, not real cheap tho.  I actually bought the Zenith knobs for an amp I built.  They have a "Z" logo on the knob.  They look cool.   Maybe type in your favorite search engine for knobs or 1/4" electronic knobs?

Here is another I just found:   http://www.sphere.bc.ca/test/tek-parts/tek-knobs.html   scroll down

Peace!

Those red ones are very cool. But 4.00 bucks each!

R.G. usually chimes in about now about how you can make your own cool knobs with plastic modeling clay.

So...
buy one of those red knobs.
Use it to make a mold.
And then make your own cool knobs that can not be found on any other box.

I have some mini-cupcake tins. I think their for chocolate making. Hope to get around to this soon myself.

Sorry R.G., beat ya to it.

Expensive and the fact that the red knobs are 1/8" shaft diameter!

That's intriguing.  I have a bunch of modeling/fimo clay.  Anyone tried this?  How does the knob's attachment to the shaft hold up over time?
