I'm making my first pedal the Tweak-O and have a quick question.  If I put in a toggle switch between C3 and R1 would this make it basically an NPN boost when the switch is off cutting the signal through the diodes?

Thanks

Assuming you're using the schematic on the small bear website here:  http://www.smallbearelec.com/Projects/TweakO/TweakO.htm

And talking about breaking the path with a SPST type toggle,

That would eliminate the clipping diodes and thusly eliminate the clipping and turn it into a booster (I think- I'm not familiar with this design); but if you're using the perf layout on that page I don't think you could do it that way, because of the way the layout is set up.  You'd have to interupt the signal to the clipping diodes some other way.  Putting it between c3 and the base of the transistor would do the same thing, for instance.

I think that's right, anyone want to back me up?
