Hey,

The stock V847 inductor has 4 pins, and this Eleca inductor has about 8? And the pin slots don't exactly match up.

What should I do? Clip em? Drill holes? Any need to connect the extra pins?

Thanks

Determine which pins are live- There are only 2 which would be connected to the windings. put those two in the appropriate place on the board and drill holes for the other pins.

Hey...when you're done, do you think you could post what you think about this inductor?

I'm curious as to how it sounds.

Can I just clip the unactive pins down to a length where I could just slip the two live pins into the board and have the inductor "floating" a little bit?  ???

The inductor base wouldn't be able to fit flush anyway, as the halo metal ring thing has two clips that stick out of the bottom.

i chopped all extra pins off. and just left the main two on there.
