Could I use one of these: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Whirlwind-Little-IMP-Lo-to-Hi-Impedance-Matcher?sku=427600 on BOTH ends of an fx pedal built for guitar/bass in order to use it inline with a microphone and a PA?  IE Will this work:

Balanced Mic -> IMP -> Rebote 2.5 -> IMP -> Balanced PA In

??

Obviously, one of the IMP's would need to be altered to have an XLR male instead of female... I would likely just rip the IMP's apart, salvage their transofmers, and install them in my stomp box.  Unless I could find a source for the tranformers directly...

I'm trying to get my Rebote 2.5 to work between a mic and the PA (still)... any help would be appreciated!

thanks,

I think that should work, yes.

You don't need anything on the input into the effect though, do you?  Low to high impedance isn't the problem, high impedance to low is.  So you'd only need one of these on the output of the effect.  What about tacking on a low output impedance output buffer?
