Adhesive Decal Inkjet and Laserjet reliability.

For those who have tried the transparent adhesive for inkjet and laserjet to make decals, can you give me some feedback about the reliability ?
I´m thinking using this method in my powder coated enclosures but i´m a little afraid about the reliability.

I have experienced very good reliability using the self adhesive inkjet clear label stock. I do lacquer the entire pedal with several coats after applying the decals though.
