Yellow Fasel Inductor "Mystery"...

Hi everyone,

I just opened a yellow fasel while inspecting the inside of a few inductors for research and found that it is based on what
stingily looks like a toroidal core.
Did I miss anything? Isn´t it advertised as a "cup core" (in my book this meaning "pot core")?
