Mu-tron Octave Divider? Who has built one - pics?

Hi all,

        Seems to be a bit of mystery this one... I know through searching that hank reynolds 3rd has built one. I was just wondering if anybody has successfully cloned one of them. I've been thinking for some time now of building one. If you have built one would I be able to have a look - I'm fishing for inspiration

I think the Shin Ei Octave Box is almost the same thing http://topopiccione.atspace.com/PJ15ShinEiOctave.html (go check on DiscoFreq's FX site), or at least, other than that there don't seem to be many other octave down pedals

Hi Lachlan,
I built the Mutron a while back from a hand drawn layout (I omitted the transformer and ran it from a regulated 12v supply) ,but wasn't too impressed by it.......It does 1 oct down ,and a green ringer sounding oct up....
The stability switch didn't really do anything,although the 1 oct down was pretty stable,andf the Tone control is a nice addition....
The Pearl Octaver does 1 up,1dwn and 2 dwn,and I'm in the midst of making a layout in DIY creator (If you look at the schem at discofreq's site, I think it'll be pretty easy to splice in a tone control on this aswell:P:P ).....
