hey guys...
i am going to start a compressor pedal.  I know that the Orange Squeezer is pretty basic and good for beginners, but is the Ross Compressor on Tonepad's site much harder to build?  also, is there a dramatic difference in sound between the two?

thanks!

Look at the So Simple Compressor V2 by Puzzle in Markm's layout gallery.  Its a nice compressor and not too hard.

theres a soundclip of the Ross .vs. Orange on the Comprosser part of analogman.com

the Ross not that hard to build, I had a PCB and the only problem i had was a faulty volume pot which I discovered after about 20 minutes.

I would go for the Dynacomp/Ross. If you build it carefully it should work its not so hard
