hi, i want to rebox my tonepad rosscomp in a special manner but i would have only place for one pot so i was thinking about using a dual pot (2 pots in one hole... like on some boss pedals)
i'm wondering if it would work the same if i used a double 500k pot (the sustain control is already 500k but the level is 50k and i don't think i'll find a double pot with those two values...) sooo would it work the same with a 500k on the level?

R.

If you put a 56k resistor in parallel with the outside lugs of the 500k level pot, you would have about the same output impedance as the original.
The only point IIRC is, that the sustain control is a lin pot and the level control is a log pot.

Overall I think it would be best to use a 500k log pot.
