does this look right? the image in dragonflys layout gallery didn't have the wiring drawn in and i wanted to add the gain pot suggested in another thread.
The spst is supposed to be gain on/off and the 500k pot is supposed to have the 10uF cap in series.

The 10uf cap is across pins 3&1 of the pot, that's parallel
ditch the green wire from pin 8 of the chip, put the 10uf on the strip
right next to pin 8 across three "holes" and cut the middle hole to avoid
shorting it out.
Then take the green wire from far right of the 10uf ( same top strip ) to your
pot lug.... now it's in series
To use the pot as a "variable resistor" tie the wiper ( middle ) and one outside
leg together BTW, so now it's two connections and wiper is not "floating"

Yes, but use an extra "hole" for the 10uf and cut the trace beneath it :
