Should I wire an output buffer to the switch or the jack?  I suppose if I were to wire it after the output jack lug of the switch, then the buffer would remain in my signal path constantly.  Could I wire it after the board out boefore the switch?  If either way will work, which one is preferable to you and why?  I am trying to assess the options.  Thanks a lot.

Why do you need one?

I suppose if I were doing it, I would wire it before the switch so it's not always on.

yeah, you wouldnt want it always on...wouldnt make much sense.

I wanted one of my wahs with a switchable output buffer for use with a fuzz. I couldn't figure out a way to do it with a DPDT switch , so I used a small toggle switch. I remember months ago asking how to wire it into the circuit, but no one seemed to know or wouldn't reply, so I had to figure it out myself and eventually did. It is amazing how the buffer affects the tone, and not in a good way, but it can be a necessary evil for use with a fuzz pedal.

I have not put a buffer in my wah, but I have heard that you definitely want a trimpot on it to set your output volume.

Aron, why do you suggest that it might be a bad idea?
