i just finished a ruby-fetzer build from this layout :

http://aronnelson.com/gallery/albums/TheBigMan-Layouts/fetzer_ruby.sized.png

i used a j201, which i thought would be okay.

i am getting signal through to the speakers, but even on a clean setting it is splatting and static-y.  when i turn the trim pot all the way down, it helps, but...

when i turn it up much it just howls...

suggestions?

thanks.

Try to do a search, as others have experienced the same issues.

I build a Fetzer Ruby on breadboad and it also howled badly. However I never did anything about, I just used the standard input section instead.
