Boss DD3 expression pedal mod walk me through please.

Hi,

want to mod a Boss DD-3 for expression pedal on the delay time - used the search function but could not find any details.

looked at R.G. Keen's article "Add an Expression Pedal to Any Effect"

As the Delay control goes to 5v  see  http://www.8bitsindgenug.net/boss_dd2.png , not ground then a LED/LDR is needed yep?

can anyone describe how this is done ... or is it simpler ...can someone draw me a wiring diagram please?

also i have an old boss  RDD-10 that sounds pretty gritty and perhaps a little distorted.... though that the modulation bus could be hooked

up to the DD3 delay time  (or feedback or level?) for an interesting ( pitch shifting kind of effect)  - how could that be done?
