Taiwan and Japanese BOSS DS1

Does anybody know if there is any difference between the japanese and the taiwan Boss DS1? I mean cap values and so on.

Quite different, but some early Taiwan ones were the Japanese style (see my Boss page DS1 section for a picture of how to tell them apart). The older ones used a different chip and sound significantly better to me.
