Original Jordan Bosstone Parts List??? Is it right???

I have an original Jordan Bosstone (Jordan Electronics, Califorina, not Sho Bud) that I borrowed and it's all orginal (carbon comps, tropical fish, etc).  The values are nowhere near what I see around on the web.  There are three 0.022uf caps which follows but all of the resistor values and transistor values are different.  The transistors are 2N3397s.  The diodes 1N4001.  The resistors are: 10K, 100K, 470ohm, 560K, 33K and even a 6.8meg (blue, gray, green, right).  Then there's a ceramic and little red bug cap that I can't tell the values.  Anyone know anything about these values and if they seem right?  And what are the pot values?

There are several different versions out there.  I have one that is as you describe.  There was a big Jordan Bosstone thread here a while back that talked about several circuits seen. 

IIRC the pots are 10k.

Interesting. If you can confirm that BOTH transistors are 2N3397, then we can make the Alhambra a 2-NPN circuit for sure! Cool!

Can you post a guts picture? I wonder where the 470R and the 33K go.

My layout in that other thread is a tad cramped. Hopefully there are better ones around.

Funny thing, yesterday I bought an old gieger counter on ebay. It comes with little pen shaped dosimeters, a survey meter, and a dosimeter charger. The charger is made by "Jordan Electronics, A Division of the Victoreen Instrument Co., Alhambra California".

I looked at the pics and the one I have looks most like the California on but has a diffenet PCB.  For instance, the switch lugs are connected (top 2 together, middle together, bottom together), there are other differences.  I'll try to post some pics.

I made a board and put it together following my version of the Bosstone.  It works, sort of, I'm getting almost ne output, had to turn the volume up on the amp really far.  It's distorted but way below unity gain.  Are we sure about the 10K pots on the volume and distortion.  I may have to check a few things to get it to where it needs to be but I don't want to have to unsolder a bunch of stuff to check values.

kefestvog, did you know that those transistors use a ECB pinout? Maybe that's what went wrong with your clone?

Well, again just moving stuff around on the old schematic, we get this:

Looks like more bass can get through. The 33K resistor on the input seems silly for those of us who flat turn everything up to 10. Not true bypassed.

Here is thje first result of the austrian jury:

This seems to be the oldest Bosstone.
Then comes the Alhambra.
After this the MPS 6513/2N 4249 (Nashville sho-sund)
and the youngest seems to be M924/2N 3565.  (Nashville Sho sound)

For further conclusions I´d like to know what is written on the bootom plate of Sir H C´s Jordan Creator and on the plate of the Bossboost.

In the evening i will post the schematics.
