I did. Its a well protected circuit. The main section is a epoxy-embedded and gets connected to the main board with a socket.
I wouldn't hack it though. To the best of my memory, its the only pedal that guy sells, so it would be unfair...
It is a neat sounding pedal though! I loved it a lot.

The subject is a kind of a mystery IMO. The manufacturer claims it's a result of many years of experimental work.
Hope it's not a properly biased CD4000XX :-(

No, it's full of Mosfets can't remember if they are N or P channel.
When I can afford one, I'll buy one, sounds great and looks like a piece of
19th century "medical" hardware !!
I also like the DIY cap change option inside, socketted :D

Agreed, as it's their only product, disecting it here would be a bit unfair ,,,

For a totally different, but great "Raunchy" option, try my "Mr Mostorto" circuit, which "mydymentia"
is enjoying very much too :D

I have one..but would never try to back-engineer...even if I could.
It's the best pedal I've ever had.  The man deserves every penny.
My dream...to build something that sounds as good.
But not to steal it.

Start with an Obsidian.
Make it N channel (reverse the polarity and caps).
Change the source resistors to drop the gain.
Now mod it to lower the noise floor.

IIRC this one has 'stop obsessing and play music' etched on the PCB.  :icon_eek:
