I bought a used digitech gnx300. it arrived with a broken volume pot for the 1/4" output jacks. when i plug into those jacks i get real nasty static noise combined with the guitar.
I found it does work fine with the headphone jack.
I would like to replace the bad pot. It's marked B20K on the top of the broken piece.
Where do i get a 20k pot ? And do i get audio taper?  I know alot of companys have minimum orders.

I think it might be an Alps 9mm trimpot. Many 9mm trimpots are audio taper. 20K should not be a tough value to find. Check Mouser.

Call Digitech and order one.

The "B" in the name is the taper.

Got Digitech's parts dept number? I can't seem to find one.

The "B" in the name is the taper. That tells me alot. Is B audio or linear?

A = Audio
B = Linear
C (or F) = Reverse Log

Digitech has a parts department, and you can order online...I just did about a month ago.  They have all the parts (jacks, pots, switches) for their products there.  Search online, Google "Digitech parts" or something. Right off of their homepage (I think the link is Store or something).  Good luck!

I found the online Digitech store and they list some pots but none specifically for the gnx3000.
I guess i'll try to call.

Thanks for all your help,

Pete

Hmm, I think those look just like the 9mm Alpha PCB mount pots I've gotten before from mouser.
