Or the meat and potatoes of what it says about biasing the Sparkleboost.
I have 1n5457's and would like to know a bit more about it, I saw an AMZ link, but it was dead, that got me thinking about it ever more and I want to just choose an Fet and set bias permanently on it.
So I was wondering if there is a page about...what is the signifigance of using a large drain resistor [quite a wide variance, I would guess it can make a difference]..so is 'it just get it to about 1/2v [or a little above?] what tonal difference does using a large drain resistor have?
Since I'm now at the biasing stage of the build...I might as well ask.

I just took like 20 readings, Jfets and resistances, I decided 10k9/4.3v on the drain with a 8.6v supply should work well.
I went and reversed the gain bypass cap circuit, the cap is at ground pot is above...doesn't matter as I know of.
I might as well read through some...thanks for the links and the Schematic Dragonfly, have a good time !

Hey! The Sundial looks cool, I  don't get the switching. What's up with that???

petemoore

Just hook stage 1out to stage 2in
Jacks go like they would then Stage ones switch 'in to input jack, stage two's out' to output jack.
Heavily saturated Fuzztone, and ability to still clean up with just a guitar vol adjust. It got me 'closer to Monterey' than just 1 FF.
