I was wondering about supply voltage for my boosters. I know a higher voltage gives you more headroom, a cleaner boost, but are there any parts substitutions i need to make to do so? I have my rocket boost and an lpb2 i want to try 18v on, since i happen to have an 18v laptop power supply around.

Well, the 18v depends on a couple of factors...if your caps are rated for 16v, and are in the power supply path, they could get fried.  If you exceed the current ratings for transistors and such, they could get fried too (not as likely)....the highest current I'm seeing at 18v is 1mA in the LPB2, LOL - tiny in this case.   Have a look at the input/output caps for their rating.  Do the same for the rocket boost, I don't have a schem for it handy.

Other than that, I think you should be fine, let us know how it works!
