Hi all - I haven't been able to find an answer to this question anywhere???
I have a DOD YJM308 Preamp Overdrive, and I'd like to add a LED to this pedal (since it doesn't have one - I have no idea why it wasn't made with one).
I believe it uses a CARLING "SPDT" switch, NOT a DPDT or 3PDT switch.
I have a switch for a malfunctioning CRYBABY that looks just like the one used in this DOD YJM308, so I'm assuming it's the same kind of switch (there's only 3 posts on this switch - 1 on the left and 2 on the right).
Is there any way to add an on/off LED to this DOD pedal without getting a different kind of switch???  Can this be done???  If so, can anyone please tell me how.
Thank you all sooo much for your time, it's much appreciated . . .

The easiest way is to use a 3PDT switch. The second easiest way is to use a millenium bypass with a DPDT. Check out the FAQ - it explains this.

So no, you need another type of switch I believe. (Unless your pedal uses another type of switching - which is doubtful)

yeah I am using the Millenium Bypass too. i would imagine it would be cheaper than buying a 3dpt switch

Cheaper, I don't believe so -- Aron sells the 3pdt switches for $6 or somewhere around there. Depending on your experience level, you may want to just use the 3pdt to eliminate any extra hassle. :)

Just use a simple DPDT switch and do that Untrue Bypassing with Led thing. :D
