I'm building a true bypass looper using 3PDT switches. I've seen schematics showing led's wired 2 different ways....
1) The voltage from DC going straight to the led and the resistor connected to the ground side being swithched via the 3PDT

2) The voltage from the DC going through the resistor and the ground being switched via the 3PDT

Is this a case of "same but different" or is there a reason for the different wirings?
Thanks.

Hi friend,
Appears to be the same thing in terms of function.
Make it on before or after just change the 3pdt switch position.

I always use this, and works great:

Correct me if I'm wrong....

It doesn't matter if the resistor is connected to the anode or the cathode because it limits current either way.
