I've seen two version of Ben Milner's ross blend circuit.  One is drawn on an envelope (http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y114/processaurus/rosscompmod.jpg) and the other is computer drawn (http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/Processaurus/album141/ross_dyna_clean_blend.jpg.html?g2_imageViewsIndex=1)

The only questions I have are regarding the polarized capacitors of values that I do not have electrolytics for.  The .47uf after the input of the dry, and the 39pf in the first gain stage.  These do not appear this way on the hand drawn version, only the computer drawn version.  What should I do?

Those aren't polarised. See the 22µF between Vref and GND for this circuit? It has a "+" sign. So does the 4.7µF at the output, so those 2 are polarised. The other 2 don't have a "+" sign, so they aren't polarised. Yes, you'll often see that "bent" cap pic on schems as denoting polarised, but it's not always the case.
