Hey, I'd like to build this wah, I've seen old threads where people even used sewing machine pedals to make one, but what I can't figure out is what physically needs to be "rocked". Should the pot be tied somehow to the rocker? How is this done?
Thanks Yaniv.

Should the pot be tied somehow to the rocker?
Crybaby's use gear driven pot, Ernie Ball has a take-up spring tensioned string which drives a pulley which twists the potshaft.
   How is this done?
1 through machining gears which fit, a rack of them driving a gearshaft.
2 using strings/springs and things to twist that pot
3...not recommended, but using a too large value pot, then using a system which can only partially turn a potshaft through it's rotational range... ziptie drives potshaft a little bit.
Thanks Yaniv.

Hey Peter I just found an old thread where you explained this, thanks for replying. If I want to replace the 33k resistor to ground with a pot should I shorten lugs 1 and 2 or 2 and 3?
