Ive made a few mods to my VOX v847 and so far im happy with the sound, but having one issue with the sweep.
The frequency range of the sweep is ok for now, but the problem im having is that the sweep occurs over about 1/4 of the
pedal range of motion. is there a way to adjust the pot taper or do i need to put something in parallel to cut down
on the pots taper? thanks!

Putting a parallel resistor on your pot from the wiper to an outer lug will change the taper (which way is hard to guess without knowing about the pot thats in your vox), but it also changes the overall value of the resistance the circuit sees.  Its easy to try in any case with some alligator clips.  There are different taper wah pots available, they're all wicked expensive though.  Maybe your mod needs to be modded?
