Unless it's just the power to the DMM that get's knocked out ;)
I like amps etc.

So after reading about this whole relay thing, would it really make a difference if I would true bypass it? I mean sound wise; off and on? I'm thinking about just leaving it alone.

I would only true bypass it if you have any active objections to the bypassing as it is.

If it's working with relays, and w/o power you are getting a signal through the pedal, if you get continuity through the input tip and output tip when it bypassed, then the thing *is* true bypass.  Relays are true bypass.  It's metal on metal contact, it's just occuring at the relays switching mechanism rather than the footswitches' one.

"True bypassing" will not change anything about this pedal at all - if he's got the version that Analog Mike describes -  and he'll lose the added feature of knowing his signal will still make it to the amp if he knocks out the power supply for the DMM.
