I'm working on a TC electronic Sustainer and Parametric EQ with the complaint of the sustain knob not being functional. Verification showed there is quite some compression happening but indeed, it cannot be altered with the sustain knob.

While I just forund the schematic on the net a week ago I cannot find it now but:
The range over which the sustain control can be altered goes from 2.3 to 2.7 volts which has minimal effect. Everything verified so far seems to function normal.

Is there anyone out there who has such a device and is willing to measure the DC voltages w.r.t. ground on the outer lugs of the sustain control?

thanks in advance.
More stuff, less fear, less  hassle and less censoring? How 'bout it??. To discuss what YOU want to discuss instead of what others decide for you. It's possible...

But not at diystompboxes.com...... regrettably

I haven't got a TC Sustainer.....yet :icon_twisted:
But here's a schem anyway:http://www.godiksennet.com/images/sch/TC%20SPE%20ServiceManual.pdf
I had one on loan at one time and it is the cleanest compressor I've ever tried.
It retains the treble, doesn't distort and have that nice airy TC sound. Perfect for clean volume pedal swells into excessive modulation and delay.

Best!
