Anyone know a good uk parts supplier which I can order everything I need from (to save on postage). Maplin doesn't have what I want. I would specifically like enclosures with (pc) boards or at least the mounting things for them. thanks.

www.rapidelectronics.co.uk are pretty good, but even at that you may have to try a few different places.  One stop shopping for stompbox building isn't easy in the UK!

I have used rapid so far. free postage over £25.

I used their self adhesive PCB pillars for mounting the pcbs. You can find them in  -  Tools, Fasteners & Production Equipment (on the left of the page)   >   Fasteners & Fixings   >   Fixings & Pcb Pillars

And I second what TheBigMan says, for stompswitches I go to banzaieffects (online from germany), for some electronic parts that aren't there I order from smallbear - postage is very cheap if you are only ordering some parts, standard airpost from the US is only $1.70 for a letter. and the exchange rate makes it a bargain at the moment. - stock up!
