One last question (hopefully)

Yet another new guy question.... I hope this will be the last one until the post a picture of new baby...ahh. I mean my newly built DIY pedal.

This may seem obvious, but I'm trying to be extra careful my first time out. I'm building the Scrambler from tonepad.com, and the transistor diagrams show spots for " ECBE". On the PCB the 2 "E"s seem to be connected.  Does this mean that I can put the emitter leg in either of those spots? Is it just set up that way to accommodate different transistor configurations?

yep, the 2 E parts are connected together, its to accomodate different transistor pinouts
