Which caps do you remove or change to reduce the bass in a bsiab2 are they C10 13 and 14 (0.022uf) ? I use a ts808 clone with my tube pre amp with the bass turned up a bit to compensate for the ts808 lack of bass, however when i switch to the bsiab there is a low register boomy flubbyness which i would like to get rid of without having to turn the pre-amp bass down.

Look for some caps in the signal path, or the gate cap to source on the bias Jfets of the Mu amps, or the schematic.

would that be c7 (.01uf) on q4 (j201) as on the ggg schematic?

Could be, I'd have to look at the schematic, IIRC there is one G/S cap on each mu stage, top Jfet.
