You don't really need to add a booster to use the BMP tonestack. If you tap off the signal at the collector of Q2 (instead of the resistor junction as is stock), that'll give you all the gain you need from a FF circuit.

Like this?

Looks right, though I haven't checked it. Try it and see, you can pretty much build the tonestack onto the back of the pot anyway!

i have been talking with a friend about good fuzz and he told to hear...     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cf7lp5bvQRU

wow! :o ! it is really awesome !he  think the diezel are boosted with some kind of fuzz!

maybe this is not the answer you are waiting, because technically it's not a fuzz, but the highway 89 is amazing. extremelly good clean up, insane distortion, and depending on settings, can sound like a fuzz.

i always got great results running the brontoboost into AC15s (reissue)
the bronto has a gnarly fuzz and is germanium sounding/smooth without being too fuzzfacey

It also has the most amazing cleanup from the guit volume

I would recommend the early version without the buffer, people who had both versions prefer the early one.

Here is an updated schematic with all the best features:

Good call on the Bronto. Anyone ever do one in NPN?
