Hi everyone!

I read on this page http://www.diyguitarist.com/DIYStompboxes/MyStompboxes.htm that the blue magic is a light overdrive (low gain), very smooth and touch sensitive.
I built a blue magic about one year ago, but I decided to keep it outside of my pedalboard. It sounds very crisp, has too much gain (maxed it seems a big muff) and if you play soft u get less saturation but the same output level. More similar to a Boss Blues Driver Than to a TS-9.
Now I'm thinking my blue magic has some problem. Wath do you think?
Goodbye and good vibes
I'm sorry but my English sucks!

Freaking with real fuzz boxes...

Well if you don't want hi-gain, just don't turn up the gain!

As far as I'm concerned it's a higher gain pedal than what is suggested.  I never found it to be terribly 'crisp' though -- darker with less high end than a tube screamer.  Sounds good at lower gain, good for blues with the extra bass...
