Rodent 22k resistor?

Hi all.
What is that 22k res (R15) in rodent with 3pdt switch? Its not in the schematic..

is it actually a 2k2 resistor?  that is limiting the voltage to the LED so you don't burn it out

Ok,but i think the 1k, soldered direct to leds + leg  limit the voltage.. And a 2,2k is not in the schematic either.
