does anyone have an original clyde mccoy pcb drawn? i dont plan on selling it, so dont worry.  ;) i just want to have another original "looking" clyde mccoy on hand...not to mention im trying to build up an arsenal of wahs at my disposal.

anyways, i just need the scanned copy of the PCB sent to me, i dont need a pcb made or anything...i dont want to spend all day drawing it up if its already around, but i cant seem to find it online...although i could swear that i have.

anyways, someone want to help?  :)

I had some trouble with that layout getting it to work.  I should note I never spent too much time debugging though.

paul, is the pinout for the transistor on top correct? looking at the clyde mccoy in front of me, the middle leg is off to the right...emittor and collector side b side. (ECB)

^That's the problem I ran into also.  I did some transistor leg bending and I got audio to pass and the wah effect going, but never over unity gain by quite a ways.

There might be an error in how I showed the transistor. I know that the PCB works because I etched one. You do have to stretch the transistor legs out quite a bit to meet the holes in the PCB. This is how it is in my vintage Vox wah, as well - and that's what I made the PCB from.  :icon_wink:
